Enterprise Poor Customer Service

August 25, 2024

Enterprise, You left us stranded in the desert and took out car in 105 degree heat. You rented us a Toyota Corolla with 7k miles on it. It died in the desert and you left us stranded for two hours! We would like a refund for the hotel room, which was $148.00. We just want to be reimbursed for the hotel and the second car rental the next day in Moab Utah. Enterprise Rent-A-Car Reservation 2070248011 at Las Cruces Caliber Collision. I would like a call back and make this right. Frankly, we are very disappointed with your company and I will contact an attorney and take you to small claims court if needed. Enterprise Poor Customer Service

January 30, 2025

Enterprise, Poor customer service. Good evening, I just wanted to reach out to file a complaint about the lack of professional customer service that I received on this date 1/30/2025. My name is and I had a reservation at the Enterprise (Laburnum Ave, Richmond VA). The reservation was for 0800a. I checked in around 0804a.  I approached the desk and Deja checked me in. She then stated that I could have a seat while my car was “getting ready”. I stood and waited and watched. There were approximately 5 team members in the office but absolutely no vehicles readily available in the lot. After about 15 minutes I inquired how long it would be before my vehicle was ready. The gentleman informed me that it would be ready “in about 5 minutes”. 10 minutes passed and ultimately I had to leave because it was taking too long and I had to get on the road for a business trip. Minutes later I called back and got Deja on the line. I complained about the poor customer service and the fact that no one was informing me about my vehicle or when it would be ready. I told Deja that she could’ve at least shared with me more information about the vehicle that I intended to lease. Her initial response was: “Okay, I can take that”.  As I continued to express my discontent with the level of service,  Deja went on to reply “Just because I checked you in does not mean that I was going to help you. There are other people in the office and I was already working with someone else”.  There was no apology. I asked when the Branch Manager would be available and she informed me that ” He comes in “different times”. Needless to say, I left my phone number for a call back but never received the callback from Tarik McClain or anyone else.

Enterprise Dangerous Experience and Poor Support

January 16, 2025

Enterprise, On December 17, our Enterprise rental vehicle broke down in the middle lane of the Mass Turnpike near the Framingham rest area. It was 29 degrees and windy, and my wife and I, both in our 70s, were returning from Beth Israel Hospital. We were stranded for hours as Enterprise’s roadside assistance failed repeatedly. Initially, I was told a tow truck was on the way, but after an hour, the driver called to say he couldn’t assist because the Pike has a specific towing contract. Enterprise failed to communicate this crucial information. A second call resulted in more confusion due to a language barrier with the agent. After two hours in the breakdown lane, we were forced to walk a mile to the rest area in freezing weather, narrowly avoiding dangerous traffic. Eventually, a helpful agent in Worcester arranged an Uber to take us to the Framingham branch, where we were given a tiny replacement car. By the time we got home, over three and a half hours had passed. Despite filing a complaint immediately and following up, I’ve received no meaningful response. This situation was unacceptable and unsafe. Enterprise must do better to ensure customers aren’t left in dangerous conditions, especially during emergencies. Would you want your family treated this way?
