Genesis 2025 GV70 Unresolved Squealing Brakes Issue

Genesis, Customer service and squealing problem! I contacted the Genesis located at 12908 IH 35 North in San Antonio, TX on three occasions to schedule a service and make sure I could get a loaner. I have yet to receive a call or text from Placido or his manager. Placido said he had to talk to his manager. I scheduled a service appointment through the call center and was assured I could keep the loaner while I was away on a trip. I called to confirm this with the Genesis of Southwest Houston location and that is not the case. If I had to do it again I would not purchase a Genesis vehicle. The 2025 GV70 makes a loud squealing sound when you reverse and apply the brakes. I’m taking it in again and I hope that the problem can be resolved this time.

Genesis Disappointing Repair Issues

Genesis, I have to drive 2 hours for the only Genesis dealership; they all closed down. My car has 12,000 miles on it. I have to drive two hours to Clearwater Florida just to get my car repaired. That’s totally crazy. It’s over 70 miles one way and on the way to Clearwater Beach. You know what that road is like. Spent a lot of money. I went to try to trade the car in. They told me since Genesis left our area so did your car it went down in price 30,018 months is ridiculous.

Gensis Climate Control Screen Issue

Genesis, Climate control screen. I leased a new 2025 G70 Advance/Prestige for my wife as a Christmas present. Two months later, the climate control screen stopped working on it. I put a lot of money down for the vehicle and paying my payments on time for something like this to happened. They gave us a loaner car to drive but that beside the point that this is a new vehicle. That I’m paying a lot of money for! We are very upset about this and are trying our best to be understanding. You need to do more than just a loaner vehicle. Like I said I’m paying a lot of money for this vehicle.

Genesis Frustrating Customer Service

Genesis, If I could give Genesis minus-10 stars I would. My 2021 G90 struck a deer in November, and I am still waiting, Three Months Later, for a part that is necessary to complete the repair. On several occasions my body shop has received broken parts, returned them, and received the same defective part a few days later, in the same package that had been re-sealed and returned! The operators at Genesis customer service are all very pleasant and apologetic on the phone, but my “case manager” (more like mis-manager), who always is supposed to call me “within 48 hours,” has never done so, and nothing changes. Absolutely shameful way to run a luxury car company.

Genesis Disappointing Experience

Genesis, Terrible experience! On Thanksgiving day I had a flat tire on my 2022 G80. The next day, Friday, I contacted Fort Myers Genesis to make an appointment. The receptionist told me there was no problem, just bring the car in around 12 noon or 12:30. I brought my G80 in at 12:30 and told the Service Manager to check the tire. He advised me that nothing could be done for at least 4 hours! I explained what the receptionist had told me, but that didn’t matter. Reluctantly, I agreed to wait. After a while, Jose (the Service Manager) advised me the flat could be repaired at a cost of $55.00. I told him to proceed. After 3- and one-half hours, I was told by another employee that the tire could not be repaired! This upset me. I told the employee to replace the tire. He said it would cost $465.00! Reluctantly I agreed, knowing that the cost was very high for that tire. After about half an hour, the car was ready. The following day, I went to Discount Tire in Fort Myers and they sold me 3 new tires, that were exactly the same tire that I purchased. The cost of those 3 tires were $307.00 each which included mounting, balancing, and alignment! That was a $158.00 difference! I feel your Service Manager, Jose, showed absolutely no customer skills, and over charged me for the tire I purchases! I know you have a price guarantee policy and I feel that I am entitled to a refund for the $158.00 that I was overcharged!
