Optimum, No representative can solve my problem. Been going on for 2 days! Terrible customer service! Can’t sign into my account. Been going on for 2 days. I spoke with 6 different customer service reps willing to help but no one could solve the issue!

Optimum Billing Issue

Billed for cable I did not have! I canceled my cable with the company but kept the internet and phone in September 2023. I also asked for them to remove a name from the bill at the same time. I sent the form in for the request and heard nothing back. The name is still on the bill and they told me they couldn’t take it off the name because the person whose name needed to be removed didn’t sign the form. I explained that we were divorced and that we had not talked to each other. I recently opened my bill and found out that the company was still charging me for cable. I figured that the internet charges went up. After six months of being charged for service, I didn’t receive. The company said that they couldn’t reimburse me for the six months. It is their responsibility to remove it from my account. I returned the equipment and canceled it the right way. And they said they could not help me with the issue. When I asked them for a corporation phone number they said they didn’t have a phone number. So I went online to find the number. The corporation hung up on me before I could find out what the problem was. Very unsatisfying to know that a company can steal from its customers and get away with it. I’ve been a customer for 20 years and they couldn’t help me with a reimbursement.

PROMOTION SCAM! PLEASE READ!! OK so I’d like to tell you first off that this became about far more than a $200 Visa gift card. This is about big corporations getting away with crazy deceiving lies, false advertisements, and straight-up corruption. This is just Optimum but the sky is the limit. You’ll see quickly in my exchange what the goal is. It is sick. I wish I recorded it, but in my last and final conversation, the supervisor credited me $50 on my next bill. He was laughing telling me in so many words how most people don’t push this hard and eventually, they just go away. I asked if gift cards were even available and he just kinda laughed uncomfortably. If I do receive a card of sorts I will update my review, but just know, If you sign up for something because you like the promo….Think twice. That’s just a technique to get you to get their more expensive service. I feel a lot of us already know this but I personally wasn’t aware of the lengths they’d go to to avoid doing ANYTHING for their loyal paying customer. Baffling. Hopefully, I can cause even a little bit of awareness and we can start calling these frauds out on the BS they spew to us consumers. Enjoy!

Optimum, I have been since yesterday 12;00 to get TV on as of right now nothing, I have been on phone chatting with every name in alphabet, and of course corparate number is out of service, lucky us, on phone with manager still trying to get TV on!!!!!!!! quick to shut it off but can’t turn it on yyyyyy

Optimum Customer Loyalty Issues

Optimum, Customer Loyalty. Optimum only cares about new customers. I’ve been a customer for 12 years. AT&T gave me an offer. Optimum was offering the same to new customers. I called and told them, if they could match it I’d stay. They adamantly refused. I then asked how long after leaving would they consider me new: 30 days. Meaning, I could get it, but not without playing the game. Hard pass. Too bad they couldn’t care less to lose my business. Oh, and I had to call in 5 times, as they purposely transferred me to wrong departments or just hung up on me.
