Papa John’s, I have seen several of your TV ads showing employees handling pizza dough with their bare hands while making a pizza. How disgusting! You obviously do not pay attention to healthy practices while preparing your items. You should have your employees wearing latex gloves to ensure best practices are in play instead of carelessly handling food that is for public consumption.

Papa John’s, Missing meatballs. Our order was not complete-meatballs were missing from our pie. We’ve never had an issue with our food from this location before, so I decided to call and see what the issue was. The employee apologized, but blamed the issue on the online menu ordering options. She said that this store location no longer used meatballs that were clearly available on the website as add-ons or create your own options. Meatballs are also included as toppings on specialty pizzas. She apologized again, explaining that they had decided to add beef topping to our pizza without our consent or knowledge. We didn’t order beef topping because we don’t like beef topping-we ordered meatballs, because we love meatballs. I have worked in food and beverage for many years, and substituting items a customer has ordered at your own discretion is rude and arrogant. They had access to my phone #, and could’ve called me regarding the substitution. Pizza was disapointing and bland. We will no longer order from Papa John’s. We never got the pizza we ordered. Your website is misleading, inaccurate. Please fix it.

Papa John’s, How to order? I called ahead to order 1 large cheese pizza this evening Rome, Ga. Turner McCall Blvd. It sounded like the representative was that of in another country. I confirmed is this Rome, Ga. Nevertheless I ordered , the man offered two if not three additional items. I declined. When he gave me my total, oh $17 and some change, I said do you mean $17 for one large cheese pizza ? He said hold and let me check for any specials. He came back to the phone offering the pizza for $13 and some change. I gave a 5 in my survey thinking this was so nice as I’m a Senior citizen and we bless everybody’s heart here in Ga. When I drop the pizza off to my granddaughter to help her out. She said oh I should have told you. They run that special on going for $9.99 for 1 large cheese pizza. So I called back except this time I chose option to speak to a manager. She confirmed that $9.99 was correct. I ask your the one that checked me out why didn’t you give that to me for $9.99? She said it’s how the order comes. I said how was I to know I needed a Manual to follow instructions to order a pizza. So this made the second lie, she was trying to tell me what I should have done as if I should have known. I told her how this made me feel. It’s lies , but I made this my last trip there. While this may seem small, it’s not! Bad bad bad business. I don’t know if this will cause any correction , I’m not going to lose sleep over this for sure, but word of mouth goes a very long way.

Papa John’s, Never get your password reset! Wanted a password reset; I submitted 4 requests; received 0 responses; checked spam folder (just to be sure) – 0 emails found. Called the store directly – manager apologized but he had no control said to contact corporate (placed an order over the phone).What is the deal? – the sites are difficult to get help on; difficult to understand (lack direction) and almost impossible to get online assistance.

Papa John’s, Poor Quality Pizzas. On Thursday, December 19, 2024, I ordered a regular crust extra-large peperone pizza from your store on Belair Road (US Rte. 1) in Perry Hall, Maryland. What I received was a was a thin crust pizza. The sauce was almost an inch from the edge, it was not hand tossed but made by a machine by kids with no supervision or training. In addition, it had been cooked to the point that it was dried out and not eatable. Since this was for my granddaughters eleventh (11th) birthday, I was very disappointed in the quality and the fact that it was not the pizza I had ordered. Based on the above and that this is not the first time I have received a pizza of this poor quality, I have decided not to purchase any more of these overpriced pizzas from your company and would like to be reimbursed. I also suggest that you send someone to this store to inspect the quality as a surprise.
