Volvo Inadequate Battery Pack

Volvo, When my wife and I were shopping for another Volvo 5 years ago, we decided to purchase the new XC60 T8 Hybrid from our dealer in Westport CT. Our long time salesperson was given information that he related to us, that the vehicle could drive up to 40 miles on a charge. That vehicle cost us around $70,000. When I started to drive it, I found it held a charge equivalent to 21 miles on electric. I started to contact Volvo HQ in NJ and I was given 2 years extra warranty. There have been software issues, dead battery and other issues with it, and I was told by a salesperson in Westport that she knew of no other customer that had an XC60 plug in Hybrid…Now, the battery pack only charges to 18 miles in Pure mode and 17 miles in Hybrid mode. Its capacity is greatly reduced per my 40 amp charger and I just viewed the Volvo Cars app and it showed that the battery pack was totally depleted and I got a screenshot of that and a shot of the dashboard showing it had 11 miles left. I feel I was sold a vehicle that was new to the dealer and I was given incorrect information that Volvo fed my salesperson. I have complained about the battery pack and you even sent a tech from NJ to diagnose it a couple of years ago. As it has not been “fixed”, I’m invoking the lemon law and asking you to either refund my purchase price or put me in a comparable XC60 T8 Hybrid that actually is rated for around 40 miles that I was told about during the sales cycle when I was mid informed about the specs of the vehicle.

Volvo Payment Issue

Volvo, Trying to reach an actual person with help in making a car payment? Don’t want to talk to a computer. Four days I’ve been trying to make a payment. I’ve called numerous numbers asking to speak to a person. The lease is in my name, but my husband has been paying the payments. He passed away last Thursday. On Monday, I’ve been trying to contact a person at Volvo that I may talk to regarding setting up a way that I can make payments from my account. After countless efforts, I finally reached a person. Explained to Paris what I needed. She sent me to a recorded message. I’m back where I started from which is nowhere. Customer service must be a foreign concept to Volvo. I will never again do business with Volvo.
