How to Escalate Firestone Complaints

Firestone complaints are easier to escalate when you have a timeline, receipts, and written documentation. This is especially important for tire installation delays, alignment problems, disputed repairs, warranty denials, unnecessary repair recommendations, credit card issues, vehicle damage, refund requests, and repeated store-level communication problems.

  1. Start with the store: Ask for the Firestone Complete Auto Care store manager where the service was performed.
  2. Ask for written details: Request the inspection notes, diagnostic findings, repair recommendations, and warranty explanation in writing.
  3. Keep the invoice: Firestone warranty claims generally require the original invoice or proof of service.
  4. Contact Firestone support: Call +1-800-752-0379 with the store location, invoice number, and complaint details.
  5. Request escalation: Ask for district, regional, or customer relations review if the store does not resolve the issue.
  6. Contact corporate headquarters: For unresolved matters, contact Bridgestone Americas at +1-615-937-1000 or write to 200 4th Avenue S., Nashville, TN 37201.
  7. Use outside options when appropriate: For credit card disputes, contact CFNA or your card issuer. For vehicle damage or unresolved repair disputes, consider your state consumer protection office, attorney general, or small claims options.

Common Firestone Issues and Complaint Routes

Tire Installation, Balancing, and Long Waits

Firestone complaints often involve appointments that take longer than expected, tire installation delays, missing tires, balancing problems, or a vehicle sitting in the bay without clear updates. Keep your appointment confirmation, invoice, store location, and timeline before contacting Firestone customer support.

Alignment Problems

Alignment complaints may involve a steering wheel that is no longer centered, pulling, uneven tire wear, dashboard warning lights, or a vehicle that drives worse after service. Return to the store quickly, ask for the alignment printout, and request manager review if the problem continues.

Brake, Battery, Suspension, and Repair Disputes

Some complaints involve repair recommendations, diagnostic fees, brake service, batteries, struts, shocks, spark plugs, suspension work, or vehicle issues that are not resolved after service. Ask for a written explanation of the diagnosis and compare it with the invoice and any warranty terms.

Warranty and Service Guarantee Questions

Firestone Complete Auto Care warranty claims generally require the original invoice from the store where the eligible part was purchased or service was performed. If a store denies warranty coverage, ask for the reason in writing and contact customer support with your invoice and service history.

Firestone Tire Product Support

If your issue involves Firestone brand tires, tire fitment, tire registration, tire warranty, or tire product information rather than a store-service complaint, contact Firestone tire product support at +1-816-492-2038 or use the Firestone Tires support form.

Firestone Credit Card and CFNA Issues

Firestone credit card complaints, payments, account access, promotional financing, rewards, interest, billing, or statement questions are handled through CFNA. Contact CFNA at +1-800-321-3950 or CF**********@**NA.com.

Refunds, Overcharges, and Charge Confusion

Refund or billing complaints may involve diagnostic fees, parts not received, services not completed, duplicate charges, promotional discounts, or credit card financing confusion. Compare the invoice with your receipt and card statement before escalating. If you still do not recognize the charge, contact the store, Firestone support, CFNA if applicable, and your card issuer.

Store Manager, Regional Manager, or Corporate Follow-Up

If a local Firestone store does not respond, ask customer support for escalation beyond the store manager. Provide the store number or location, invoice number, dates, photos, and a concise explanation of the unresolved complaint.

Fake Firestone Support Numbers and Auto Repair Scams

Be careful with fake Firestone support numbers, suspicious service emails, counterfeit coupon offers, fake tire rebates, and payment links that do not come from official Firestone, Bridgestone, or CFNA sites. Use FirestoneCompleteAutoCare.com, FirestoneTire.com, BridgestoneAmericas.com, or CFNA.com for verified support.

Firestone Reviews and Complaints

Current review themes on CorporateOfficeHeadquarters.com include tire installation delays, long waits despite appointments, alignment problems after service, disputed diagnostic charges, concerns about whether repairs were actually completed, poor local-store communication, and difficulty reaching the right person for follow-up.

There is also a positive/mixed review from a North Palm Beach, Florida customer who said the local manager apologized, refunded charges, and tried to make the situation right after a bad initial experience. Firestone North Palm Beach FL Experience

March 28, 2026

Firestone Manager Made It Right! I went to Firestone located at 12120 US Highway 1, North Palm Beach, FL 33408 on Saturday, March 14th for an issue that I thought that my car was having. Long story short, it was a rather bad experience dealing with the service advisors there at Firestone and while the technician was courteous and detail-oriented, he didn’t seem to have much knowledge about my car. After his diagnosis, I took my car to the dealer as I have an extended warranty on the car. The dealership found nothing wrong with the car where Firestone was going to charge me $2,500 for unnecessary repairs. I filled out the survey sent the following week by Firestone, and I have to say, the manager of this particular Firestone, Arie, definitely tried to make it right. He called me personally and apologized for my experience and refunded me the money that I had put out towards the diagnosis and the money I was charged for parts that I did not receive. He was extremely customer-oriented and I give him a ton of credit because he valued my feedback and did not want to lose me as a customer. He turned a nightmare situation into an ok experience and while I had decided never to go back there, I will go back for tires and repairs to my tires. Thank you Arie for going that step beyond to make sure you keep the customer and give the customer a satisfactory experience.

Firestone Disappointing Tire Installation

June 5, 2025

Firestone, Tire Installation. I had an 8:00 appointment to have 4 tires installed on my work van. I arrived prior to 8:00 and was told it would be a couple of hours. My van was taken into the bay at 9:00 and at 10:30 this morning, my van is still sitting in the bay and no tires have been installed! Why make an appointment to have the customer wait for long times? This was a total waste of my time to sit here and wait on my van that I had work to do today and half of the morning is gone and there’s no way installing 4 tires should take over 2 hours to do. I’m a mobile mechanic and this has caused me business. As I walked around to where the bay is and the guys are just shooting the breeze and keeping customers waiting for unusual amounts of time!! Ridiculous!! I had an appointment on Monday morning at 8:00 and when I arrived they couldn’t find my other 2 tires. The guy was in a mood that morning and relayed it to the customers and that Should Never Happen!! I came back and talked to the manager and the manager found the other 2 tires and told them that they don’t look for anything. Then my appointment was rescheduled to today, Thursday, 5 June at 8:00 and now it’s almost 11:00 and my van still isn’t ready. This is totally unacceptable!!!

Firestone Disappointing Alignment Experience

June 4, 2025

Firestone, My car was worse after. I came in for an alignment- after an hour+ of waiting, I drove off the lot and it was worse! The steering wheel was not aligned and way to the right to make the car go straight. The crash assist light began to malfunction. This was no issue before the alignment. Came back to Firestone waited for 2 hours and my car is still not even looked at! Still waiting! I will never come back!

Firestone Brookfield CT Disappointing Experience

June 2, 2025

Firestone, Disappointed with Recent Service. I recently had spark plugs, struts, and shocks replaced at the Firestone in Brookfield, CT—or at least, that’s what I was told. I’ve used this location in the past and initially had good experiences, especially when I was closely monitoring the work being done. Over time, I began to trust the team and waited in the lounge instead of observing the service. Unfortunately, this most recent visit left me disappointed. Despite the repairs, my vehicle isn’t running any better, and the ride quality has actually worsened. This raises concerns about whether the parts were truly replaced or if low-quality components were used. When I brought this up to the manager, I was told that something else might be causing the issue and was quoted another $200+ for diagnostic work—despite the fact that I had already paid for diagnostics before the service. While the 6-month interest-free offer on their credit card is appealing, I can no longer recommend or trust Firestone based on this experience.

Firestone Arlington TX Disappointing Experience

May 27, 2025

Firestone, Nightmare at Firestone store because incompetent employees. I don’t recommend any one bringing their vehicle to do any type of work at this particular store on South Cooper in Arlington Texas I brought my car in for a change of spark plugs and they said I had to pay an extra $130 for a diagnostic even though I had just asked for a spark plug replacement the service advisor said that it would take about three hours so they would call me when my car was ready it was 10:30 am I knew they close the store at 7 pm so I didn’t hear anything from Firestone by 6:pm I called and the store was already closed I had to miss work because I didn’t have a vehicle to go to work and I’m not getting pay for memorial day either for not making it to work after the holiday so Tuesday I called Firestone and the manager said to go pick up my car that it was ready I got to the store only to find out nothing was done to my car at all , at this point I was extremely upset and with out any one to take my complaint to . So please do not take your car to Firestone complete auto care, because they don’t care at all.
