Gentle Dental, I received a unauthorized charge on my American Express credit card from your company. I had used Gentle Dental over a year ago. I used your plan for a one-time charge only. I no longer use your company and do not plan to in the future. This is a fraudulent charge and I expect a credit issued immediately. If the credit is not issued within 48 hours further action follows.

Extremely rude employee who handles billing!

I Questioned a $50 invoice from them, the person I spoke with kept insisting that I need to call my insurance company and basically chastised me for not knowing all the ins and outs of my policy. I told her multiple times I had never been billed for basic cleaning and she kept saying my insurance must have changed and they (GD) changed systems so maybe this was an old bill. FINALLY, after 5 minutes of going back and forth about my insurance, she looked up my service. turns out that they (GD) charged the insurance for x-rays that never happened and then billed again when they actually happened which caused the bill to me. when she figured this out her response was human error and oh well. This is FRAUD, by billing insurance then billing me is illegal. The question is how often do they do this and have people just pay them the money NOT due to them? Been with the same office for over 16 years and she made it so uncomfortable I am thinking of moving my family elsewhere!

Gentle Dental Avoid At All Costs

AVOID. AT ALL COSTS. Good luck getting any help, and then they will spend a year billing you for services they didn’t do. I am still getting bills for things that didn’t happen. I was told I had 6 cavities, when I got a second opinion, I had 1. I transferred care, and now keep getting bills in the mail for care I have not received. I canceled my future appt, and was billed $75 for “no show”. Insurance pays for 1 x-ray a year, they continue to bill me directly for the imaging. I have left numerous messages, but no one has ever called me back. I went into the office, once but never got a return call from the manager, and another time I happened to run into the manager. The manager called me a liar, and told me they have never received any voicemails. Stated would call me back within the week. I never received a callback, but am still getting bills. I called “corporate”, and the customer service – was zero help. Supposedly I will get a call back. HA. I see how they handle their business.

I paid $3,000.00 to get work done got transferred for my job and couldn’t do care 2 years later I still can’t get my money back. Nobody returns your phone calls when you happen to catch them they lie and say checks in the mail. Don’t recommend them

Alysa Arellano is the worst business or office manager at Gentle Dental located on Central Ave. The front desk person, who is no longer there was the biggest airhead and would mix up information regarding the patients. I had to call Medical several times to get Alysa Arellano to fix a referral that was pushed out by 3 months. She never addressed the issue. She is very unhelpful and unreliable as a manager. They need a new manager as well at Central Rd. location. Medical had to affirm the process with this manager and she became upset that I called and addressed the issue with Medical. When I had my appt. today. I was so happy to see a new front desk person, who by the way was very clear in her communication and understood the patient. I even complimented her. The manager Alysa said she had to dismiss me, because I spoke the truth about her previous person, the front desk airhead who did not communicate well and seemed like she was in Lala land. I did not use curse words or anything. She said, “Since you used that language about a previous employee, I am going to have to dismiss you as a patient.” What?!!!! Being honest to see a new person who knows what she is doing. It is no wonder why the office is empty and there are hardly any patients at this location. Gentle Dental on Central Ave, in Riverside CA. needs a new manager who will make sure referrals are addressed in a timely manner, who is professional and who does not hide for more than an hour when a patient needs to speak to her about important issues. She is truly a slacker and not good for business!
