Hilton Hampton Inn Disappointing

Hiton, Dumpy Hampton Inn, is Not a Hilton. Plaster walls are discolored throughout the room. Tub caulking peeling off & moldy. My 16-year-old grandson could do a better job caulking the tub area. Ceramic tile in Bathroom is separating and moldy. I have a serious heart condition (mitral valve replaced) & COPD. I Cannot remain here breathing this mold in. Rusty plumbing in tub & toilet area. Bathroom wallpaper & colors throughout appear to be from the 70’s. Moldy spots along the baseboard casement, throughout the room. The refrigerator is empty, with not even a bottle of water. No vending machines on the floors. The microwave is not clean. A layer of dust is on top of everything. Bed, TV, artwork etc…..When I took off my socks, they were black from the dirty floors and there is some disgusting goop stuck to them, that I wouldn’t touch. I threw my socks out.

Hilton Honors Account Issue

Hilton,Conflicting Hilton Honors Accounts. I Need help deleting a ghost account. My Hilton Honors# and password pull up Different accounts under my name. The website is current and correct. The Hilton Honors App is Not. I’ve deleted the App and reloaded it several times. I’ve followed directions to wipe cache memory of the App but it still pulls up same info. This has been a problem for 2 years ! No one in Hilton seems to want to help solve this issue. It is an issue because the App virtually Useless to me (cannot make reservations cannot check in for digital key etc).

I am about the point to switch to IHG or Marriott for the lack of inconvenience. Need some admin help on this one.

Hilton Disappointed

Hilton, Disappointed in our stay at Hilton Sorrento Palace. We booked a once in a life time vacation with Perillo Tours. Our stay in Sorrento was our 2nd stop. We had booked this vacation a year ago. When we arrived apparently Hilton had “over booked” and they were asking some people to go to another hotel for the night with rewards when they came back for the 2nd and 3rd night. Unfortunately we did not jump fast enough. So we were given a room on the bottom floor below the lobby. This looked like a Howard Johnson motel room. The hallway smelled as if they just painted. The room was missing pictures on the wall. The bathroom counter was stained. The curtains were hanging on the floor and we had linoleum floors. We found out there was a conference there and they would be leaving the next day. We could not change rooms, because there were none! We deserved a better room than this. I asked if the rooms on the bottom floor were any way the same as rooms on the 1st or 2nd floors. The receptionist said they were different. Very disappointed with our stay at the “Hilton Sorrento Palace” Palace??? I would have been a little happier if the receptionist had said something to us.

Hilton Disappointing Customer Service

Hilton, I had booked a room pending the snow storm. I walked in the building and immediately was greeted by an unprofessional front desk clerk. During my short unfortunate stay I saw 4 different front desk clerks. We got checked in dropped our bags in the room and immediately went straight down to the restaurant to get a drink and order food. We went back up to the room and did a full inspection. The room was dirty, there was hair in the shower, hair in the toilet, hair on the ground in the bathroom, hair and dirt that were obviously swept into the corners of the room instead of being picked up properly. I immediately called the front desk, I told the front desk clerk that she could come to the room so she could be witness to the conditions of the room. She said instead she could just offer another room. So we went to the next room, immediately I contacted the front desk again. The room was in the Same condition as the previous room. She stated that she took notes and that she could move me rooms again, or comp breakfast. I no longer had faith in moving rooms, as from what I had seen the previous two rooms. I was exhausted. The next morning housekeeping came and woke me up stating that I should’ve been checked out by then, when I had a noon checkout time. I spoke the the next front desk clerk who greeted me by stating “you’re room 330 aren’t you?”, so every staff member was aware and just blatantly ignored and mistreated me. I contacted corporate and placed an internal complaint.

I was then contacted by one of the managers at the location who was profoundly rude to me and denied offering a refund for the room and stated I was lying about the complaints. I contacted corporate again, and was told that I would be contacted.

I have been given the run around, over and over again, I have been mistreated and ignored over and over. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior for a business. This should be reconciled properly. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone.

Hilton Over Charge Issue

Hilton, Charged 3 times. Stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn New York/Manhattan-Midtown East on E 52nd St in September. Used my Amex to reserve 2 rooms. Used 2 different names for the reservation under the Amex card. Checked in under my name and the other person. We checked out that Monday. Other person used their credit card to check out and I used my Mastercard and to check out of my room. My bill was correct. Other person was charged more. Not sure why. They never explained. Got home and checked my bank account. Hilton had charged me on my Mastercard twice. The correct amount and the other persons charges. Few days later, my Amex bill came in and I was charged for the same room. What the heck? Called and received a case number, and here we are now in November. No resolution and no status or update on the case. Get me out of this and I’ll go back to Marriott.
