Winn-Dixie Home Office - from experience watch your receipts

November 21, 2023

after shopping at Walmart for years I got in a habit of looking at my receipt after purchases, due to being charged twice for items I didn’t purchase, almost every time I shopped there in Baker, LA. I went to the Winn Dixie in Zachary, LA, The cashier was super fast, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. I was charged twice for chicken and eggs. It’s Thanksgiving week. I went to the manager and she said, the cashier was moving fast, I agreed and reimbursed me for the purchase. valued at 22 dollars. All I want to say is…..WATCH YOUR RECEIPTS!!! I’m not saying she wanted to steal from me and at the end of the day pick up her chicken and eggs. WATCH YOUR RECEIPTS ITS ALL.

Winn-Dixie Main Office - Cooked ribs at $16.99 they were put in the trash can they were so tough!

November 18, 2023

I purchased two slabs of cooked ribs at $16.99 they were put in the trash can they were so tough. The person who packaged those ribs knew they should have been put in the trash can and not put out for anyone to purchase. The cost of food is too high to travel to the store to get it and then travel home and it is not fit to eat. I called to speak with a manager and spoke with someone who identified herself as Andrea. I will NEVER purchase anything else from 401 North Carrollton, NOLA. The manager that I spoke to today was Keith, and he said that Adrea is just a cashier. Well, customers calling in don’t know who is who. I explained everything to Adrea. I will NEVER give Winn Dixie another penny of my money, so I sure hope that $34.00 + taxes last forever.

Winn-Dixie Outstanding Customer Service

December 13, 2022

After a hard day @ work, I end up going to the nearest Winn-Dixie market closer to my place. After picking up a few items I went to the cashier’s line. This lovely short, white head senior lady named Maureen didn’t just greet me with such a warm smile but also stopped me from purchasing one soft drink but a few more that were on special that day. She even showed me the coupon where I will be saving some money & getting more for it. She was so cordial & engaged me in a way that I totally forgot how tired I was after leaving my office that afternoon. I left after thanking her for her kindness & patience and all she replied was, “Go home & rest dear, tomorrow will be better you’ll see”

I just Loved that special & precious moment, with a perfect stranger at my favorite Supermarket Winn-Dixie.

Winn-Dixie Animals in store!

December 13, 2022

This complaint is about all the stores in the Miami-Dade area. Every day there are people with their pets (dogs, cats) in the stores. These are not special needs dogs for the blind or handicapped. I am an animal lover but I object to pets around my food (poultry, meat, vegetables.. even packaged products). This is NOT sanitation at its best or especially what I would expect from Winn Dixie. I have brought it up to several managers and the reply is that those customers would be unhappy. Ouch. Not the best judgment my opinion. Please consider a rule implementation.
