My stay at your port st Lucy location was nothing short of a nightmare After along plane ride from Ny and a hour and half car ride we arrived and checked in We were given keys to room 406 and proceeded to the room. When we tried to get in our room the key wouldn’t work. We tried again and again. Then waited approximately 10 minutes figuring they had not entered into system yet. After that we called the desk and were advised they were sending someone up. After another 15 minutes wait I went down to the desk and no one was there. I shouted out I need help and finaly a clerk came out and explained she had sent help to the wrong floor. She went up with me and tried her key and could not open. She then got another set of keys and was able to get in To her surprise and our shock the room was under renovation. How in the world they didn’t know this is beyond believe. We were finally assigned another room which was fine. Noe the comedy of errors and aggravation continued when we got our bill and we’re charged for two additional days stay. I was furious I am a senior citizen with high blood pressure and health issues. Upon reporting this awful experience we were offered reward points which was totally unacceptable. Our reservation number was 68054099. I e stayed at the Hilton inn and never had any problems. I expect to be compensated for my awful stay which ruined my trip and caused me so much stress. I recently visited your New Port Richey location and was disappointed to find that the advertised rate of $136 per night had been increased by over $100 due to limited availability. When I asked why, I was informed that all hotels in the area were full due to a football tournament. While I understand the demand for rooms may be high, I don’t believe it justifies such a significant increase in price.
does nit deserve 1 star ! called in 4/7 8 pm to reserve room at holiday inn express lenoir city tenn for 4/8 check out 4/9 was told that I would not be charged any early fees we arrived at 526 am 4/8 .. checked out 803 am 4/9 was charged 321.30 Charlie front desk clerk presented himself as the next best thing fir management refused to get mang to assist in wrongful charges.. we paid but filed a complaint with Corp IHG .. IHG states that MRS Rosemarie (manager ) yells at them and refuses to do right and refund my money fir 4/7 for a little over 160 dollars once again we was still in illinois on 4/7 so how can you charge me a full rate when I'm not in your state (I have evidence to prove ) Rosemarie refuses to call me the customer she did wrong and falsely charged ! IHG agrees that she is in the wrong and tires to get her ro refund my money but Rosemarie refuses ! must be nice to rip off hard working people and not have the odasity to call them and make it right ! this manager lacks any morals lacks compassion for doing sustomers wrong ! she makes your buisness look bad ! 1st time at an express and will be my last ! yall done stole enough money from me !
My experience at this hotel was the worst experience I have ever encountered in my life. I was scheduled to stay at this hotel this coming weekend November 11 through 13 2022. Yesterday November 9, I noticed a charge of $406.38 which had been withdrawn from my account. After research, It was brought to my attention that the hotel had withdrawn this cash from my personal bank account. I proceeded to call the hotel to understand why this transaction took place before my arrival. I should also mention that the amount that they request from you for incidentals, which is usually just a hold on your credit card was also deducted from my account. when I called the bank to speak with someone regarding this transaction I was routed to the GM by the name of Ann Weber. Let me say this first, entitlement does exist. Ms. Weber proceeded to tell me that this was their policy and they could withdraw this money anytime after the 48 hours clock started prior to your arrival. I proceeded to ask her if this was in writing in their policy, and she replied this was their policy and that if I did not approve I could stay somewhere else. I’m a well-educated male, and I’ve never experienced someone in the Customer service field who was so unprofessional, condescending, and Just outright rude. She proceeded to call me “honey” and told me that I would not be welcome in the hotel ever again. Is this the way a Hotel should conduct business? I find this to be very interesting because this weekend a number of alumni students along with their families will attend the University of Maryland Eastern shore (HBCU) annual homecoming. I can’t help but find this a coincidence.
