Giant, Improperly trained staff. At Oak avenue on Aldan had Birds Eye Steamed Vegetables on sale 4 for$5. Customer service berated the customer and refused to honor the price. First the associate said they were the wrong weight. Wrong – right weight. Then manager came after having the customer wait for 30 minutes and still did not honor the price. This is terrible.

Giant Disappointing Gift Card Issue

Giant Sold a Fraudulent VISA Gift Card and Refuses to Refund. Giant, I purchased a $150 VISA gift card on December 23, 2024, at the Giant on Arlington Road (Store #0327) in Bethesda as a gift for a caregiver. Unfortunately, the card was fraudulent, and the store refuses to issue a refund. To make matters worse, Giant has no clear way to report these issues beyond leaving a review. When I called Customer Care on February 11, 2025, they were unhelpful and simply transferred me to the card issuer’s fraud department, which does not assist customers directly. I visited the store twice, and the manager admitted the card was fraudulent but claimed he could not process a refund. Instead, he kept the card to “continue his research.” Now, I’m out $150, plus service fees, and still need to replace the gift for my caregiver. This is completely unacceptable. I will never purchase another gift card from Giant again!
