  1. I need someone from corporate to contact me in regards to store #34050.
I needed a starter and by the time I was called they said I needed a transmission, and my car would not start. My transmission had nothing wrong, neither did anything other than starter sticking. Now the car will not start and from what they are saying will not do 10 miles an hour. My oil is dirty which is strange as they changed it 2 weeks ago, and overfilled it by at least 2 quarts. Contact me my information is on file as I have a credit card from firestone.

  2. I have always had my Honda serviced at firestone In Huntsville Alabama. I called to get my records of my maintenance on my vehicle and they informed me that their system has been hacked and that some records have been lost. They only show one oil change for my car and now my warranty for the car will possibly not honor due to no records of maintenance on the car. I took the car to firestone to make sure that I don't mess up my warranty, but now firestone has royally screwed me out of my warranty. That is so wrong and I am out of pocket because of you firestone.

  3. I dropped my vehicle off on 04/01 with a report it was stalling while idling at a light. I was advised my evap emmission control had a very small leak and system malfunction. I also had a positive battery terminal installed, a pressure test for the cooling system, a smoke test and a recommendation to replace the water pump. It was also recommended to have replace the upper radiator hose and brake fluid exchange. This bill was $1101.40.

On 04/12, I was driving to work and it died, losing all power. I had to have it towed and had it delivered back to Firestone.

Then I was advised I needed a new battery cable but the part was discontinued. The part was ordered from NAPA per Paul, but the part did not show up until 04/17. I was notified by Firestone my vehicle was ready for pickup so I went to pick it up, paid $344.74 and the vehicle died twice on my drive home. I immediately returned to the shop, talked to Paul and he took it for a drive but said he couldn't get it to stall and that the vehicle was ready for pickup.

I picked it up and did not drive it long distances over the weekend and probably did a total of less than two miles. This morning, 04/19, I was driving it to work and the vehicle died again at a stop light. I called Paul and he said he didn't know what to tell me since he couldn't get it to die. I am asking for the labor I have paid thus far to be 100% reimbursed but I am willing to pay for the parts. The 04/01 invoice totaled $724.95 in labor and the 04/12 invoice totaled $149.50 in labor. This adds up to $874.45 that I paid for "labor" only to have the exact same problem occurring and an auto repair shop that can't figure out how to fix it.

  5. My mini cooper was serviced in Kapolei Hi for a window regulator replacement. When I took the car in for repair I explained that the motor was functional and I only needed the regulator replaced, I was told it had to be ordered as a kit. When I picked up my car 1 week later and examined the paperwork I pointed out to the mechanic that it was two separate parts and he explained that it is recommended that both parts are replaced. I explained that this should be left up to the customer weather they want to have the recommended service performed. That part was 342.00 extra.

  6. This comment is for store 022888. I took my vehicle in to have a tire repaired. Upon going to pick up vehicle I noticed that the car was left running and the low fuel light was now on. I inquired as to why the car was left running and was told by the advisor that he didn't know but it the car had been running for about an hour. They gave me $15 for gas but after getting into the car I noticed the DVD option was on in my car screen. This leads me to believe that someone was sitting in my car watching a movie. They exited the vehicle and forgot to turn it off. This unacceptable and whoever that was should be disciplined.

  7. I had a bad experience. At store 004057 on 1/20/2017 my car still had the check engine light on after spending over $600 dollars for a tube up,motor mount, and knock out plug. Please read all the reviews and make a sound decision..I lost faith in Firestone after a long time relationship. The employees do not car.We pay for the service,We lose time off work,We are force to take our cars to another mech.We are just as important as your employees.Does anyone at Firestone care anymore.

  8. I took my brand new Nissan in for a vehicle inspection with 25% left on the brake pads. They insisted I needed new brake shoes and would not pass the inspection unless I got them. I agreed so that I could go to work. They then failed to resurface the rotors so I couldn't go to work anyway and lost a days income. I had to go back to get them to replace the rotors. If I don't find some satisfaction I will pursue further action to recover my lost wages. nuthillproductions@sbcglobal.net
