  • While I am shopping on the Free People website, its offering me exercise classes in Miami 2 1/2 hours away! Every time I switched screens, I had to remove the Pop up as it was blocking my screen browsing. So annoying that they have such lousy programmers that don't allow the user to select to "Stop showing me the pop up", it doesn't apply to me. They just lost my business. Get your pop up out of my shopping experience!

  • There are other online shops that offer great customer service with easy returns and exchanges. ASOS.com is one of them. Etsy has some fabulous designers as well. There items are quality. I'm sure many of us Free People fans can attest to buying a garment from FP that fell apart in a few months.

  • I am a long time customer of Free People. In May of 2019 I purchased a pair of shoes for vacation but unfortunately a zipper on the left shoe was damaged. I called cs for instructions. I was told another pair will be shipped asap and to keep the damaged shoes. The second pair arrived in time for my vacation. A few months later I received and email informing me that I need to pay for the second pair of shoes because the damaged pair were never returned. Shortly there after I shipped the damaged shoes back and I thought that was the end of it until I attempted to purchase a few items this Friday via Afterpay. I received confirmation of my order from Afterpay. The following day I received an email that my order had been cancelled and the first installment was refunded. I called your cs line and spoke to a supervisor. She informed me that my account was flagged because according to your records they never received the damaged shoes. Upon further research she located the returned items. She also informed me that in September your back office issued a refund for the second pair of shoes. I was unaware of the refund and told her I would have to research my records. In the meantime the sale items I attempted to purchase r selling out. I asked if my items would be placed on hold until your research team resolves the issue. The answer was no. Your back office errors are not my errors. The shoes were purchased in full in May and here we are one day away from December and I am still dealing with your back office accounting errors. This is horrible.   • This has been the worst experience with any online store ever! Not one person knows what they are doing in customer service including the supervisors that bold face lie just to get u off the phone! I ordered a pair of clogs along with numerous other items… no where did it say when I was ordering that they were out of stock… then a week later I get a cancellation notice for the clogs…call back reorder when I see they are advertising them again… I was to,d they had 9 in stock in my size…. paid for overnight and that has been a week now… they placed a "Hold" order on it and then couldn't tell me why, then they told me it was to arrive today, another lie, then it was coming from distribution, another lie, then they tell me it was coming from a store, and I would receive it today, another lie, now I was just told it was being shipped out from yet another store tonight! Call corporate and I am assuming due to the amount of complaints they send u straight to voicemail ….. crazy and insane and I will never ever never ever never order another thing from this company!!!!!

    • I am having a similar issue. They flagged my account cancelled my order due to an issue they created 7 months prior. This is insane.

  • Hi, I am using this forum as a means of contact as calling the number and email provided on the FP website has not helped me in any way whatsoever. I placed an online order late today, and received an instant confirmation via email. Once I'd read that the delivery address I thought I had changed in my account (I have recently moved from Austarlia to Vancouver) was actually only te billing address, I email help imediately (time since I place the order wa no longer than 20mins). I was informed nothing could be done to rectify the shipping address, so I emailed again in hopes i'd be lucky to get someone more helpful replying, to no avail. I then made a panicked call to the 1800 line to speak to someone in person about making what should be an easy change to the delivery address, and was told yet again that NOTHING can be done. How can this be?!?! Seriously!?? There is now several hundred dollars of clothing going to some stranger in South Australia, when I only placed the order a few hours ago! PLEASE HELP. There MUST be a way to change the delivery address… Seems nothing short of CRAZY that this can not be done!

  • I purchased a garment form your UTC store and there was a special price on the window so I went in and they do not have the right size and color. Therefore the sales associate offered to ship for free of charge A few days later I received the merchandise and I saw the shipping charge was on the invoice and I said to myself when I signed the sales slip the shipping charge was zero, so I did not get upset about it and a few days later accidentally I saw on my credit card monthly statement there was charge on it then later I went back to the store to to return the garment and the clerk tried an half hour to explain how the transaction will work and called the customer service to refund the shipping charge. The whole thing is bad experience.and they do not much apologized for it. I warn all the customers if they told you free shipping DO NOT Believe them,they will charge you behind your back. Watch Out your valet!!! your money will disappear without you notice it!!!!

    • I paid for gift wrapping and all they did was literally wrap it in a piece of tissue paper and out it in a bag that u would get anyway and charged it as a gift wrap! A piece of tisssie paper for $4.00

    My experience with these people. I ordered sandals and I didn't see where to change the delivery address only billing address. Not knowing if you put the billing that it would automatically asked you do you want it to go to the billing address, so it added an old address that I haven't lived at in 2 years and the order went thru with the WRONG address. They said that they couldn't change it which is nonsense. I emailed them letting them know how I felt about this situation and NO ONE ever emailed me back. Then did some background on this company and I was like oh, it's headquartered on the east coast where they have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE NOR MANNERS… Go figure. The worse company EVER…

    • Worst experience of online shopping to date!…. the supervisors lie about when things were shipped when they have not been shipped and bold face lie about it! Pay for overnight and a week later still not here!

    I just wanted to say thank you. My daughter had the wedding of her dreams and Free People made it possible. She had a very distinct style that she was going for and she found just about everything her and her bridesmaids needed to make this day a special one.

  • I ordered a pair of shoes on the CANADIAN WEBSITE it showed cdn funds but I was charged in US FUNDS which was not indicated until I received my invoice!!! Shoes were indicated imported…..yep all the way from CHINA! I returned them to the store in which I was given a refund in cdn only not what I paid US FUNDS im out 42.00!!!

  • I placed an order with Free People on Monday and paid extra for overnight shipping. It is Friday and the order has yet to ship. The customer service supervisor, Emily, said that I was randomly selected for verification so that is why it hadn't shipped. One would think that if someone is paying extra for overnight shipping, they needed their order quickly and that Free People could have notified the customer of that. I think that Free People has the worst customer service and Emily certainly offered no apology.

  • So I order a pair of Twiggy pink shades from Free People. When I got the shades, first off, they were in a pink bag. I open the bag, the shades were wrap I'm tissue wrapping paper and also scratched. So I called. The new ones came today, I opened the box. To my surprise, the frames were wide ams leaning. U could tell someone had wore them. Scratches were all over the shades. Again, I called. The rep to me that the shades came from a store. I asked her, why would someone send shades like this to someone!! I've never seen anything like this before!!

  • I own a clothing boutique and I just want all you "Free People" followers to know that the company treats it's customers (store owners) like crap. They are a very dishonest company and they know they have our hands tied because they have a following, ie. people who come to stores looking for Free People. It's absolutely disgusting the way they treat us! I highly suggest you find another brand to idolize. Preferably one with a conscience.

    • I will never ever buy another item from free people after this holiday shopping experience! They are a nightmare to say the very least! They have lost this customer for sure!

  • This is for Kate at the Head Quarters, (if that is even your real name) the only w(b)itch that answers the phone apparently. You're customer service is TERRIBLE. YOU are very rude. I don't know why you still have a job. You aren't engaging and you are not helpful. If you don't like your job please quit, better yet I wish your boss would fire you. You clearly don't have the characteristics the website states all it's employees have.

  • I visited your Howell Mill location yesterday in Atlanta and experienced the worst. I was the only customer in the store and the sales assocIate never acknowledged me or took the time to see if I needed assistance. Thereafter, two other customers arrived and she walked towards them offering immediate assistance. After browsing several racks it was by this time I was certainly NOT going to purchase anything from her, she made sure to be overly attentive to the other customers.

    I hope this is not the way Free People would have their employees represent the brand. This behavior was so unacceptable.

    • That's very random. Perhaps you should try another location. I actually only shop at one of the locations closer to my home and the associates are always pleasant and helpful.
