PLEASE I want my REFUND!
I just canceled my subscription to this magazine. I was shocked by the distortion and sloppy diatride that was elevated to "cover" story status. I did not know Newsweek was capable (incapable?) of such pandering.
I cannot believe a reputable magazine published such distortions of Obama's Affordable Health Care Act. Nial Fergusen is a conservative hack and you should be ashamed at giving him legitamacy. You should offer objective reporting, not something by a partisan hack. This will hurt your magazine.
After seeing the cover of the August 27th issue, I immediately called to stop delivery. My subscription ran out in June of this year, but the idiots kept sending it. This anti-Obama issue is the last straw–if they thought this right-wing crap would encourage me to renew, they were WRONG! I hope to never see another copy of Newsweek ever again.
Add me to the list of those canceling their subscription to Newsweek. I'm not even waiting until my subscription expires. One would expect the caliber of the magazine to include a lead story which is more balanced. A column of an opinion piece is different than a cover/lead story like this fewer than 100 days before the Presidential election. I hope there are severe consequences for not fact-checking a lead/cover story.
