  • I have contacted customer service on 3/18 and was told I would hear back from the DM within 7 days. Here we are on day 10. I called again, and got told, we can email him again for you. Well clearly email is not working as a way for him to contact guests back. I called the store to ask the manager if she could personally contact him. Well, she’s “unavailable” I am about to go higher than a DM clearly you can’t get any one to contact back within a reasonable time.

  • Applied to work for one of the locations in Daytona Beach, Fl in the Volusia Mall, not realizing my little sister got the same call to come in and they scheduled us back to back. So i go to sit with the district manager, general manager for my interview and thought everything had went well. Well they then called my sister over for her interview (mind you they didnt even greet my sister, or get out of the chair to stand and shake her hand) but proceeded to ask her if we were sisters and if she always follows me around every where I go. Then told her neither of us would be getting a call back because we came together and basically needed to cut my sister from my side which wasnt even the case. We rode together due to the fact that her car wouldnt start the night before. Needless to say ill never apply to work here again or purchase anything from any of there stores because of how i was treated, yet these are the people you want to represent your company.

  • They sure don't drug test there employees. Cause the one in Carbondale il the blonde girl was talking to a guy asking him to bring her weed to smoke after she got off. That is real professional

  • I live in the Florence Sc area.. please better train your employees especially about your onine coupons. When I go there they're so rude like oh you have another coupon.. umm really!!?? I'll just have to order online and pay that shipping fee for now on.

  • I have been dealing with the two stand alone pagodas in my area since they opened up a number of years ago. All the managers and associates are the best I have ever dealt with.

  • As a former employee i can tell you this is the worst place to work. They re tagg items that are NOT gold and say they are. They don't train anyone to pierce ears ( Providence Place Mall,Rhode Island). On my first day, no prior training, they told me to pierce a 6 month old baby and of it came out bad the parent could bring the baby back again tomorrow. They don't care about the customers or anything but themselves and taking your money! You'll never end up seeing a refund and the majority of Pagoda's have rude employees. They are literally trained to be rude and ignore people that dont look wealthy enough to shop there.

  • I received a St. Michael charm from the Birchwood Mall in Port Huron MI as a Christmas gift. The quality of the charm wasn't something I cared for so I wanted to return it and buy something elsewhere. I had the receipt showing that it was bought and showed how much was paid for it. The girl working told me that the charm was never paid for so she couldn't give me a refund. She was very rude when I asked her why she was rude she said that she felt I was being rude to her. I explained I was confused how I would have a receipt for the product and that she was embarrassing me in front of other customers. She called her manager and she was told to tell me I could keep the charm but no refund would be issued because their money was short for the amount of the charm. The girl also told me that the girl that sold the charm was fired for being short on money that day. I explained that I didn't understand how this was my problem and she said its my problem because the charm wasn't paid for even having the receipt it didn't matter. I asked for the district managers name and number and she told me they can't give that information out.
    I'll never deal with this company again.

  • No where in their policy does it state they won't refund certain "body jewelry" even less than 24 hours after purchase. I read the WHOLE policy online and the associate in store did not mention it to me even after seeing I was hesitant of buying because I was not sure it was big enough. They suck, overall the worst company ever. Never buying anything there again. Oh and their piercing services are horrendous, they never heal right. 2 years after my cartilage piercing its still getting infected. Oh well, my fault for shopping at piercing pagoda.

  • This is by far the worst place I have ever bought anything from… let me emplain I went in February 2015 to buy some earrings that they were doing a special on which was buy 1 get 1 free.. so everything was great I was happy with my purchase until that night I checked my online statement and noticed that I was doubled charged so the next day I called customer service explaining to them that the store accidentally charged my debit card twice which they understood and explained to me that it would take 5 to 10 business days to get the refund but then the fun started with them… I waited for 10 days and no refund so I called back and they stated that I never asked for a refund and that they never received a call from me OK but the thing is I had a case number and all… so this representative said OK let me go ahead a request a refund for you again which I believed it once again so I waited another 10 days and still nothing so now I'm mad I called again and this representative said the same thing as the others but by thus time I figured out their game… so now going into April 2015 and still no refund they stated now that I never called once again and that my bank is refusing my refund so I took it upon myself to contact my bank and get a dispute against thus horrible place this happened at South County Mall in St Louis..this is one horrible place I believe they run a spam doing this to people for a living… I never heard of a company refusing to give you your money back they claim my money likes it's theirs I will fight this until I GET MY MONEY BACK… 2 MONTHS IS RIDICULOUS PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

  • I was offered a job at the Piercing Pagoda at the Harford Mall in Bel Air, MD. I asked them if it would be safe to put my two weeks in and the Store Manager, Carla told me it would be safe and she wanted to start me soon. So, I put my two weeks in. They told me a couple days later that they couldn't start me for about another month because of schedule conflicts. I was patient and understanding, although I was jobless for a month. It was three days before my start date; I received a TEXT MESSAGE from the manager Carla that she wouldn't be able to start me because they had too many employees. I am just trying to figure out why this happened and who is truly responsible needs their continued employment under discussion. I just hope you can show your client base that you don't tolerate that kind of immature, disrespectful, apathetic, unjust behavior. I would please like to have somebody from your Corporate contact me. The manager at the store will not willingly give me her bosses number.

  • I ordered jewelry from pagoda.com on 4/22 that was never delivered. Fed Ex has confirmed they cannot locate the package. Piercing Pagoda still will not refund my money for 14 business days in case Fed Ex finds the package. I'm furious.

  • My Husband bought a what was suppose to be 10k gold necklace. It kept breaking and I got it fixed. It broke again. He decided that he didn't want it anymore. We took it to cash for gold and they told us it was gold plated. Keep in mind that this necklace has 10k on the clasp and that they told us when we bought it that it was fully gold. We took it back to the place we got it and they told us without a receipt there is nothing they can do. They said that it has their makings on it tho.

  • I was going to get my ears pierced by a woman at Piercing Pagoda at Baybrook Mall today, she was incredibly moody and rude so I told her I would take my business somewhere else. Her response? "Have a nice day"… Seriously never EVER going there or recommending it to anybody else. I will definitely be finding a way to contact a district manager or something…

    • I live in the Florence area and I haven't ever experienced a more unprofessional employee in my entire life (Emily). Not twice, but three times, I was at Florence mall with my children and as my oldest daughter shopped, my other two were looking as well. As I stood there, looking at her, and let my children shop, all she did was roll her eyes, she neither asked us if we would like some assistance nor did she ask us if we wanted ANY help at all. The first time, she was on the phone so long while we stood in front of her (while she made eye contact with me) then turned her back, pretended we weren't there, and continued her conversation. I've also been there to get my oldest daughter's ears pierced and there was another woman in the kiosk with the (Emily) girl , so I figured it would be ok and they would hopefully be professional but as we were looking at the jewelry, the older woman starting talking very loudly to a security officer about stuff that shouldn't be spoken about around customers. Definitely kids! So we were stuck with the Emily employee again.My oldest looked at me and said, "isn't that the same girl that is rude and never helps us?' I told her yes, but we already said we wanted her ears pierced didn't h,ave much time and that Emily girl was coming back with the stuff to pierce her ears. We had already paid and this Emily girl was so rough, mean, immature, and unwelcoming, my daughter, who was scared anyways, jumped off the chair and ran away bc she later told me how she didn't want that mean girl piercing her ears. We will never go back there again bc of EMILY at PIERCING PAGODA.

  • I bought jewlery from them as well in north carolina mall and decided I didn't want it and asked for a refund and it has took over a month to get my check and i finally got it today 3/11/13 and I went and tried to cash it and it go through so I didn't get to cash it and ontop of that it has the wrong city and zipcode than what is on my license and the day I done the refund they had my license in front of them. So now they want me to send back the check I have now and so they can void it and send out another which will take another month. so irratated. I won't shop from them ever again.

    Of course you won't approve my comment, I'm not looking for approval, I'm looking for someone in the damn corporate office to take accountablility for this and give my family our money back. Your product and associate training is horrible and you don't use customer service after there are issues. You're not upholding your company word and honoring refunds. It states on the receipt, "any refunds over $75 come directly from Corp. office" but you want me to take time out of my busy day to go back to the store I got my kids ears peirced at and get an in store credit! Wow!

    • I've had a hard time with them also in the aspect that they charged me a 1yr warranty on my daughters ear pircing without telling me. I didnt notice until I got home. My reciept was on a carbon copy and now that I need to use that warranty they say I cannot because I dont have the reciept but I do have a picture dated 6-5-12 of her getting her ears pierced in the chair, holding their teddy bear. They told me I have to purchase a whole new set of gold earrings (minmum $50)LOST THIS CUSTOMER FOREVER!!!!!!

  • I purchased $240.00 worth of gold items from a stand in a Seattle Mall. The woman that pierced my 3 daughters ears and put earrings in my daughters ears that already had their ears pierced, she suggested crew backs, she put the earrings in so tight, the earrings were growing into the skin of my childrens ear lobes. I called into the Customer service line 8/24/12 to report this and try to report a claim so I could get a refund, I was told I'd be contacted back in 24-48 hours later. I never hear back. Today is 9/11/12, I called the same Customer service line back, actually got the same woman that took my original call, (Louis). She called the district manager in the Seattle/Eastern Wa. area (Leslie) who lied about ever contacting me back. They had ficticious notes that a store manager called me about getting a in-store credit for the items I purchased that day in the store. I NEVER heard back from anyone. Louis then proceeded to tell me, "You didn't tell us what you wanted…" I told her, "Yes, I did! I told you I needed a REFUND for the items that affected my childrens ears that day and I wanted the girl who put the earrings in my kids ear at the Seattle South Center Mall that day to get re-trained because ALL of my kids were affected, not just one. I live 6 hours from Seattle, these crazy people actually want me to drive back to Seattle to get a in-store credit. I don't even want to do business with this company any more. The funny thing is, if i had a pagoda stand in my local area, with my receipt, I could go back and get a FULL REfund! How backwards is this!!! This is NOT a company that cares about thier customers, their customers families, young children and/or customer service! Horrible, horrible, horrible. You've lost a customer and all those I know will know and hear about this! Warning! DON'T take your kids or family member here!!! Horrible!!!

    • I had some what of the same issue. I was able to get a refund. I would like to start a BLOG and perhaps get the feed back from others who having problems along the same lines and perhaps make this a classaction suit against the company. Sometime the store only takes you seriously when there pockets are affected.
